On the night of the 30th of November, in Poland, we celebrate the so-called "Andrews" (due to St. Andrews nameday). It's a magical evening, on which we fortunetell our future lives, and try to foresee our yet to be found second half.

The most famous divination is pouring wax through a hole in the key (the old, rusty type), to a bowl of water. The hardened wax should be lightened with a huge candle. The divination is based on the shadow cast by the wax-figure on the wall.

Another divination is on pieces of paper - you write a name on each one, and then hide them under your pillow. In the morning, when you wake up, the first one you will pull out, will bear the name of your future partner.

When I was little, I really liked Andrews Night. Later on I have forgotten about it.
