I only want to point out one thing though - the back of the chair.
The section of the chair she is leaning her hand on looks like the chair is behind her. The bottom part looks as though she is sitting on the chair. This kinda confused me at first until I notices what is causing it.
Other than this I think it's a perfect piece of art.
Another piece of your work that I really like. I lovve the color choices and the detail in the dress. By the way I really like this dress too, I would never wear it myself since I don't like wearing them (I'm such a tomboy lol) But I really like this dress. It's not frilly, or tons of lace, it's flowy like water and smooth.
"O, the Erne shall run red, With redundance of blood, The earth shall rock beneath our tread, And flames wrap hill and wood,"
Exerpt from Dark Rosaleen or Roisin Dubh, an Irish poem which might be from the 16th century. This is what I thought of when I saw this. Your picture is very beautiful. You work also brings to mind a short story I read about a painting of a pale maiden in red with ebony hair, pale skin, and bewitching eyes. She comes out of the painting and is like a vampire, sucks blood out of men. For some reason it made quite an impression to me when I was 11.
